Role in the lab: Lab Manager (in charge of all the expensive bits) managing breeding colony, providing support in molecular biology research techniques and cognitive behavior testing in rodents.
Current research interests: I use diverse molecular biology techniques to characterize target genes/proteins (D1 receptors, D2 receptors, Creb, pCreb, DARPP, pDARPP, Erk, pErk, 5HTA, BDNF) that can be used as markers of dopamine signalling. I am also interested in identifying biomarkers of oxidative stress.
